Check out our newly redesigned site!

If you have logged in to SheetExchange in the past few days, you might have noticed a complete redesign of the site.

The new design load significantly faster, makes search and other menus more accessible to you and makes much better use of your screen space. Additionally, it brings a large number of small improvements that will make your experience with the site more pleasant.

Last but not least, we think the new design looks better! Hope you feel the same too. And we're almost out of Beta. Although your feedback is always appreciated.

But that's not all. Remember we recently allowed file uploads? Most users - in fact, everyone who added a sheet since we launched file uploads - upload their sheet online. So we changed pages such as the search page to show sheets that have a download link first. The only exception is "Latest Sheets" which shows all sheets in the order they were uploaded (most recent first).

Hope you enjoy the new design and all the smaller improvements!

Upload Files!

It's finally here! You can now upload file directly to SheetExchange.

What's more is that instead of just storing your files on our servers, your files will be uploaded to Scribd: a cool site to share your documents online. Scribd allows people to view your sheet online, print it, share it, download it in different formats, view it on their mobile phones and even more...

Of course, since the purpose of SheetExchange is "exchanging" sheets, you do not have to upload files. Say you want to privately exchange copyrighted scores. And if you want, you can still share links to online documents and use our bookmarklet to do it faster too.

Share links easier with our bookmarklet!

We've made it easier to share your online music sheets with our bookmarklet!

All you have to do is drag this bookmarklet into your browser:

Share Music Sheet

Now, whenever you want to share a sheet (that is available online) just go the sheet in your browser and click the bookmarklet. It will open a new tab or page to add the sheet information with link (URL) already filled in for you.

You can use this bookmarklet to easily share music sheets that you have stored on online file storage services such as Google docs, dropbox or box.net.

First, you can now search title, composor, etc. at once. So you will get results faster.

You will also notice a number of improvements when navigating the site. It is now easier to download or request sheets, contact users or manage your messages.

Add Download URL to your sheet information!

We decided to roll-out one of the most requested features: Download URL!
You can now add a web address to your new or existing sheet information.
You can now use file sharing services to share actual files.
Remember, the more sheets you make available to others, more sheets will be available to yourself!
